I come here every time my friends and I need a spot to recharge or catch up. The vibes are always on point, and I love that K-pop (especially BLACKPINK!) plays through the speakers—it adds so much energy. I’ve introduced this place to both family and friends, and they all absolutely love it. The staff are consistently friendly and a pleasure to talk to. This place never disappoints.
Everything is very affordable, food is high quality and decent waiting times, no complaints whatsoever lovely place to go, staff are lovey. Great menu and can always order more if you’re unsure about how much food to order.
Myself & my Husband have recently moved to North Yorkshire and decided to go to exploring in darlington and stumbled across Tao, Asian cuisine is a favourite for us both. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and is both fun and exciting, I’m so sorry we didn’t catch the name of our male server but he was an absolute joy to be around and the food was divine! so much so that we went back the very next day! Not only that but we had lunch and I ordered more food to take home with us. We walked past our male server who told us he would be coming on shift at 5:30pm, I’m so sorry to the male server but we couldn’t last that long so we missed him on our second outing but he is most definitely an added bonus when eating here. It is definitely becoming a staple in our lives. Gorgeous food for a good price.
Absolutely amazing food - delicious and authentic. Great variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, gluten-free, etc. The staff are so lovely and friendly, the service is great, the atmosphere is convivial. Did I mention the food is amazing...? Can't wait to go back!
Excellent vegan food and choices and great service. We pre booked for a big group yesterday, there was plenty of vegan choices for us all which is a goldmine and good service - they were attentive and friendly with our toddlers and children who caused a little bit of chaos at times so thank you very much! Also met a lovely family next to us. Great evening
Been here a few times since its been open and enjoyed it every time. Went today with my nephews, the guy serving was amazing and engaging with them and they both come out full and smiling. Definitely recommend to any one
I am a frequent face at T.A.O even some of the staff know my face now. Especially Steven I'm always so happy when I see him! My friends and I always choose TAO for our dinners as it's the one place were we can all get something we are happy with. Excellent choices if you're not a meat eater which I don't tend to eat a lot of. Staff are always so nice and if you ever have any questions they are happy to find an answer for you. I mainly go for the sushi, my favorite would be the Futomaki. The sushi also keeps well for the next day as I like to take some into work for a nice treat. 10/10 5 stars will always be the biggest fan 3
Amazing food. Disability friendly staff. This place has a family atmosphere. Really love this place, ended up here again. Looking forward to next visit.
